Well we made it!
This is kinda tough as the Web site is in German so I am not sure if this will post correctly. The Air India experience was very interesting. And of course we were greeted by a McDonalds as soon as we got off the plane (which will make my future Father-in-law happy). I plan on uploading a picture of that fine welcome to Deutschland if I get the camera thing happening. Things seem cool and I can't wait to get to a Fan Fest for one of the games. And you better believe we had a beer after a pretty much sleepless night, met some English soccer fans and checked in. It's a start!

Awesome - and you managed to find an internet cafe before I could make it to the laptop not 10 feet from the bed to post your successful arrival!
Be safe!

Dude, Have a Hefewisen or four for me! Jim S
Congratulations on surviving the trip there. I trust no children were harmed in the making of this trip?
Please learn the German phrases for:
1. How much is my bail?
2. I demand to speak to the American Consulate.
3. I've very, very sorry. In America, the women don't mind men doing that at all.
4. I'm very, very sorry. I had thought that the Germans were over that whole Nazi/Holocaust thing.
5. I'm very, very sorry. I'm an arrogant, rude, ignorant American and I didn't know any better.
6. I'm very, very sorry. Allah is the one true god and Mohammad is his messenger. Please untie me now.
Good luck, and good adventures,
Brian
Awesome...I'm so jealous, man. Have a safe trip! Rock and Roll

Mom and I are happy to hear that you and Tom arrived safely in Deutschland. If you will recall from your days at Northern Illinios the phrase for "excuse me please" is Entschuldigen Sie bitte"
